In the family room, the hot water was nonexistent, only barely warm after a request to restart the boiler. Plus, the bathroom showed signs of neglect with some areas that felt overdue for a deep clean. For the rate of 90 GBP per night, those expecting a more modern experience might be left wanting, especially with the bar and restaurant closed for refurbishment during our stay.

It was just a great fit for a quick weekend visit in Bromborough with great value-to-price ratio. The free WiFi was easy to access, which was a nice surprise. I’d recommend checking for power outlets before settling in.

Room for improvement

I stayed for 2 nights in a family room, and it wasn’t the best. We got hit with a nasty damp smell as soon as we walked in and found some old stains everywhere. The restaurant was decent, but our meals were missing sides we expected. Staff could def work on being more attentive.
